Elgato has just announced that Siri Shortcuts are now supported with its Stream Deck Mobile app for iOS.
Elgato confirmed the news on Twitter today saying:
Also introducing Siri Shortcuts for Stream Deck Mobile iOS.
The power of Stream Deck. Now hands free.
Available today on Stream Deck Mobile for iOS.
As you can see from the video, Siri Shortcuts will allow streamers to give voice commands to Siri for different Stream Deck functions such as play commercials, switch cameras, video trim and end stream.
Elgato announced Stream Deck Mobile last year saying:
Stream Deck Mobile puts all the power of Stream Deck in the palm of your hand. With 15 virtual keys on your iPhone screen, Stream Deck Mobile enables all the functionality of Stream Deck, now with a wireless connection. The app pairs easily by scanning a QR code in the Stream Deck software, syncing with any actions you set up on the desktop app. Stream Deck Mobile can be tried for free on the Apple App Store, with the full version available for $2.99/month or $24.99/year.
Now iOS users who want to stream using Stream Deck Mobile can take full advantage of the “Hey Siri” feature on their iPhone, allowing you to seamlessly control your stream without interrupting you while you game.
To use Elgato Stream Deck Mobile, you need an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running iOs 12.2 or later. As mentioned, the full version of the app costs $2.99/month or $24.99/year.
