Changing ways of broadcasting

Expectations have changed in the way we all like to watch content, and now we really want to switch between web, mobile, and TV and have a consistent experience while doing that.

7plus recently underwent a redesign that attempts to meet this expectation with a familiar experience across all devices. The new design offers a cinematic look. And if you don’t know what to watch, you can always search for it on the platform. You never know what you might find to stream for free.

A “Watchlist” feature allows viewers to pin content to the homepage and, with the login feature, enables the same viewing experience across multiple devices.

Should I log in?

Yes, you must log in to use 7plus and use all of its personalized features.

This is becoming common practice in subscription streaming and provides additional benefits such as Watchlist functionality. This feature is not found on other free streaming services in Australia.

7plus on the web

Although 7plus has an app available on multiple devices, there is also the web version that allows multiple browser windows to open. This can come in handy when you want to bookmark some shows outside of the “Watchlist” feature or keep up to date with the latest news.

If you use the “Watchlist” feature, you can use it by logging into your 7plus account and simply checking the Watchlist button on a show or movie you might want to watch when you are over time.

It will then be added to your 7plus home screen and available on all devices you log into.

The homepage feature takes you straight to the main Channel 7 live stream as soon as you access the 7plus app. There are also other live channels you can watch like 7TWO, 7mate and 7flix.

Outside of broadcast channels, there are plenty of TV shows and movies accessible, including classic Aussie dramas such as Blue Heelers, Sons & Daughters, Packed To The Rafters, All Saints A Country Practice, Water Rats and Always Greener.
