PROVIDENCE, RI – The BIG EAST conference announced an agreement with leading sports streaming service FloSports to become the headquarters of the digital network BIG EAST (BEDN) presented by SoFi for the 2021-22 academic year. FloSports served as the digital home of BIG EAST women’s basketball in 2020-21 and will now expand its BEDN lineup to include more than 500 Olympic sporting events, as well as original BIG EAST content such as “Shootaround” and “Fast Break”, The weekly men’s and women’s basketball shows from the conference. FloSports offers monthly and annual subscriptions, and as part of the expanded agreement, discounts for students and faculty at BIG EAST member institutions will be available.
The digital platform complements BIG EAST’s expansive national television deal with FOX Sports, which provides full annual coverage of regular season men’s and women’s basketball games, including BIG men’s and women’s basketball tournaments.
