The Eagles and Lions are expected to finish top of the division this season. With Tuesday’s season opener being their only meeting in 2022, this may have major implications for the pick of a division champion.

Cumberland Valley reached the District 3 quarter-finals last season. They are led by KK Ball, who enters his senior season with 108 career goals.

State College, the defending Commonwealth and District 6/10 champion, is poised to win both titles again this season. He brings back three first-team stars from Mid-Penn a year ago in Leah Moyer, Kaylee Schaeffer-Hood and Grace Jones.
