Live from New York, Saturday Night Live is back! The comedy series has announced its first host lineup for the show’s next season, including Owen Wilson, Kim Kardashian, Jason Sudeikis and Rami Malek. And, for the first time ever, the show will air live on Peacock, as it will also air on NBC.

For decades, SNL aired exclusively on NBC after the other late night shows aired. But as NBC increases its streamer Peacock, looking for new subscribers, the comedy show will also be live. For Season 47 of Lorne Michaels’ hit series, the show will begin airing on Peacock and NBC in early October.

The season’s first host will be Owen Wilson, who recently starred in the Disney + series. Loki. He is associated with musician Kacey Musgraves, who has just released her album Star crossed.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West will be next to take the stage for her very first appearance. She will be joined by musical guest Halsey. Next on the list is Rami Malek, another first scheduled host for his James Bond films, No time to die. He will be joined by Young Thug as a musical guest on the show.

Ultimately, SNL alum Jason Sudeikis will return for his first appearance as the show’s host. He recently won an Emmy for his performance as a lead comedic actor in Ted lasso, even roasting SNL boss Michaels on stage as he accepted the award. Brandi Carlile will be the musician of the Sudeikis welcome concert.

NBC has not announced any details on the arrival of new cast members for the 47th season, or whether a veteran of the cast at the end of their contract will leave the series.

Saturday Night Live will return with Wilson and Musgraves as guests on October 2 at 11:30 p.m. ET. New episodes of SNL will premiere weekly on Saturday evening at 11:30 am / 10:30 am c.
