The Melbourne Stars kept their season alive with an eight-wicket win over Brisbane Heat at the MCG.
Glenn Maxwell was the hero, adding 37 points after taking one of the summer’s catches, while Joe Clarke added 62 for the hosts.
The Heat went 6-149 on their 20 overs after winning the toss and striking first.

The Heat started strong with flyhalf Chris Lynn (28) and Nathan McSweeney (20) sending them on a flyer, but after both fell the innings stalled.
Ben Duckett held the Heat’s innings together, raising his 50 points to 17th, including three fours and two towering sixes before Adam Zampa knocked him out for 51.
However, the show was stolen by Glenn Maxwell who produced a catch for the ages to fire Sam Heazlett for 9 years.
