Amazon offers the original Elgato Stream Deck for $119.99 shipped. Normally between $130 and $150, this discount of up to 20% marks a new 2022 low price that we’ve been tracking. With 15 customizable LCD buttons, you can set up the broadcast deck to do just about anything. Although the name implies it’s meant for streaming, there’s so much more you can do with it. You can configure a virtually endless amount of macros and shortcuts to make content editing more efficient. Do you have complicated games with lots of shortcuts? Add them to the feed set with icons that quickly identify what they’re up to. Everything is controlled in the Stream Deck software. A more recent product launched by Elgato is the Stream Deck pedal for $82.50. This hands-free studio controller sits under your desk and features three macro footswitches to control various actions. If you’re doing something that requires your hands all the time, this pedal will let you switch scenes, mute a microphone, and more. It is configured in the same software as the stream deck and can be in USD in tandem. You can adjust the pedal springs to have the pressure you prefer to avoid accidental tipping. The software can even detect which app is in use at the moment and change what the buttons do accordingly. This way you effectively have more than three macros.
