SNY launches new app to live stream New York Mets games – The Streamable

With the delayed Major League Baseball season approaching, SNY will have its own dedicated streaming app for the first time. New York Mets fans will be able to stream live games directly from the app available on AppleTV, Amazon FireTV, Roku, Android-TV, iOSand android devices.

Previously, live Mets games were available through TV Everywhere using the NBC Sports app, but this will now be replaced by the new SNY app.

To access a 24/7 live stream from SportsNet NY – including live New York Mets games, New York Jets pre and post game shows, UConn women’s basketball and pre-game and post-game coverage – fans will still need to authenticate with their TV. Credentials everywhere. For streamers, this means those who subscribe to DIRECTV STREAM, Hulu Live TV, fuboTV, and YouTube TV can use the app, as all of these platforms carry SNY.

Currently, there is no way to subscribe directly to the SNY app, but more and more regional sports networks are moving in this direction. There are rumors that MSG, which offers Rangers, Knicks, Devils and Islanders games, will launch a DTC service later this year.

SNY app features:

  • 24/7 network live streaming for users who authenticate through their TV provider.
