Stan Sport will broadcast UEFA Champions League games live in 4K for an Australian first

Stan Sport offers a first for an Australian streaming service – live sport in 4K when it shows the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

The entire UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League finals will be streamed live and on demand in 4K Ultra HD with stunning clarity, so you’ll almost feel like you’re there during the match.

The first 4K live streams will be hosted by Stan Sport’s Max Rushdon, Mark Bosnich and Craig Foster as they cover all the action from Manchester City vs Atletico on April 6 and Chelsea vs Real Madrid on April 7.

Both games will be streamed daily in 4K live and ad-free starting at 4:35 a.m. AEST.

Stan account holders can access 4K streams if they have the Stan Sport add-on and a supported 4K-enabled device, such as their smart TV or computer.

“The addition of 4K Ultra HD streaming means Australia’s top sports streaming service just got even better,” says Stan’s sports director Ben Kimber.

“We’re proud to lead the way as Australia’s first streaming service to offer live 4K sport and give football fans the best way to watch the game they love.”
