Besides UAAP Women’s Volleyball, Pinoy Volleyball fans have something to look forward to in June as a telecom giant prepares to broadcast the 2022 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) live on a platform digital.

Smart Communications, Inc. is putting the highly anticipated FIVB VNL at the fingertips of fans via the GigaPlay app starting June 14.

VNL brings together the top 16 volleyball nations to compete in a round robin tournament in six cities around the world, including the Philippines, where the second leg of the women’s division will take place. The competition will run from June 14 to 19.

Meanwhile, the men’s matches will take place from June 21-26 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

In the women’s division, powerhouses from America, Japan, Italy, Thailand, China, Canada, Bulgaria and Belgium face off.

In the men’s division, teams from Japan, Argentina, Slovenia, the Netherlands, France, China, Italy and Germany will compete in the country.

The Philippines exhibition matches for the PNVF International Challenge will also be broadcast on GigaPlay.

The Philippines women’s national team will face top Asian volleyball teams Thailand and Japan on 11 (6 p.m.) and 12 (4 p.m.), respectively, while the men’s team will face Germany and Japan. Japan on June 16 (4 p.m.) and June 27. (4 p.m.).
