The American Legion World Series is reduced to four teams and on Monday Troy, AL will face Midland, MI in the first semifinal. Both teams went 2-1 in pool to qualify for the semi-finals. It’s been a tough road for both teams to qualify for regionals and now for pool matches, but it put them both one win away from playing for a league game on Tuesday. The winner will face the winner of Idaho Falls, ID and Shrewsbury, MA in the final, while the loser will return home just short of their ultimate goal.
