The film, directed by filmmaker GS Viknesh, is set to stream on the OTT Disney Plus Hotstar platform.

The trailer for actor Nayanthara’s next film O2 was unveiled on Monday, June 6. The trailer opens with footage of Nayanthara planting a sapling and smiling, as she watches it grow. The following pictures show that her son Veera is suffering from a respiratory problem. In a phone conversation, Nayanthara reveals that the mother-son duo are going to a hospital where doctors have promised that his condition will improve after treatment. However, while traveling on a bus en route to Kochi from Coimbatore, he encounters an accident and the bus is buried underground.

On the one hand, the cops are organizing search operations and tracking cell phones to find out the whereabouts of passengers to rescue them, while those trapped on the bus worry about the lack of oxygen to breathe. Whether they turn on each other and start fighting or overcoming adversity, shapes the rest of the story. The trailer sets the tone for a gripping survival drama.
