Toronto got off to a fast start, leading Montreal 24-13 at halftime en route to a 34-27 win in the East Division final last week. McLeod Bethel-Thompson threw for two touchdowns and 299 yards in the win.
In Winnipeg last week, the Blue Bombers took the lead on a 44-yard field goal from Marc Liegghio to take a 9-7 lead in the first quarter and beat the BC Lions 28-20. Brady Oliveira rushed for 130 yards on 20 carries, Dakota Prukop scored a rushing touchdown and CFL MVP Zach Collaros was 14 of 20 for 178 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Winnipeg.
The teams have met once this season, with the Blue Bombers claiming a 23-22 win at Toronto in Week 4. Boris Bede missed a shotgun field goal that would have given him the win at the Argos.
